Departure: Around 7:30 AM from your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
This full-day excursion takes you across the majestic High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), one of Morocco’s most breathtaking roads. As you climb higher, you’ll enjoy spectacular landscapes of valleys, Berber villages, and ever-changing mountain scenery.

Your first stop will be at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic ksars (fortified villages) in Morocco. The site has been featured in many famous movies and series such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy. You’ll have time to explore the narrow alleys, climb to the top for panoramic views, and learn about the Berber history of the region.

After lunch at a local restaurant with a view of the kasbah, continue your journey to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here, you can visit Kasbah Taourirt, the former residence of the powerful Glaoui family, and the Atlas Film Studios, where many international films were shot.

In the afternoon, drive back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, arriving around 7:00 PM.
