Upon arrival at Agadir airport, your private driver will greet you and transfer you to your Riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to take a short stroll along Agadir’s beaches or visit the local markets. Agadir, with its beautiful coastline and relaxed atmosphere, offers a warm welcome to start your Moroccan adventure. You will spend your first night in a comfortable Riad or hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, your journey begins toward Taroudant, a traditional Berber town often called the “Little Marrakech” because of its ancient city walls and bustling souks. Explore the town and take photos of its vibrant streets. From there, continue to Taliouine, the world’s saffron capital, where you can visit a saffron cooperative and learn about the delicate process of harvesting this prized spice. In the afternoon, drive through scenic landscapes to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” famous for its film studios and desert backdrop. Overnight stay in a Riad or hotel in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, leave Ouarzazate via Skoura, with its lush palm groves and historic Amridil Kasbah. Continue your journey through the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes, winding gorges, and scenic river valleys. Stop at Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon with towering cliffs, perfect for photos and a short hike. Continue toward the Merzouga Desert, arriving in time for a sunset camel ride into the dunes, followed by a traditional dinner at your desert camp. Overnight in a comfortable desert tent under the starry sky.
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, explore the desert with visits to a desert oasis, Khamlia village to experience traditional Gnaoua music, and a Berber Bedouin family to learn about their way of life. In the afternoon, enjoy another camel ride across the dunes before returning to your desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the enchanting sounds of Berber music around the campfire.
After breakfast, leave the desert and drive through the Ziz Valley, famous for its lush palm groves and picturesque landscapes. Stop in Erfoud, a town known for its fossil deposits, then continue to Midelt, famous for its mineral resources and apple orchards. Pass through Ifrane, often called “Morocco’s Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture and clean, peaceful environment. Arrive in Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities, and spend the night in a traditional Riad.
Today, enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes, exploring its rich history and cultural heritage. Wander through the narrow lanes of the Medina, visit the Bou Inania and Al-Attarine Madrasas, the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, and the Al-Najjarine Fountain. Learn about traditional crafts, experience the vibrant souks, and take in a panoramic view of the city from a hilltop vantage point. Overnight stay in your Riad in Fes.
After breakfast, drive north to the famous blue city of Chefchaouen. This charming town is nestled in the Rif Mountains and is known for its blue-painted streets, historic architecture, and serene atmosphere. Take a walk through the Medina, visit Ras El-Ma, the Kasbah Museum, and Uta El-Hammam Square. Enjoy the town’s tranquility before spending the night in a cozy Riad.
On your final day, depart Chefchaouen early and head south toward Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the Kasbah of the Oudayas, Hassan Tower, Chellah Necropolis, and the royal palaces. Continue via Casablanca, stopping at the Hassan II Mosque, before returning to Agadir, where your 8-day tour concludes with a night in a Riad or hotel.
