Upon arrival at Tangier airport, your driver will welcome you and transfer you to your Riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore Tangier’s highlights, including the historic Kasbah, the bustling Medina, and the scenic waterfront. Take a leisurely evening stroll to soak in the city’s unique atmosphere. Overnight stay in Tangier.
After breakfast, depart Tangier and drive along the Mediterranean coast to Tetouan, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its Andalusian architecture and vibrant medina. Enjoy a guided walk through Tetouan’s old town before continuing to the blue city of Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, stroll through the Medina, visiting Ras El-Ma, the Kasbah Museum, and Uta El-Hammam Square. Overnight in a Riad in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, travel to Volubilis, the Roman ruins and UNESCO World Heritage site, exploring its ancient mosaics, columns, and gates. Continue to Meknes, an imperial city from the 17th century, visiting Mansour Gate, Sahrij Swani, and Qara Prison. End the day in Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and holiest cities, with overnight in a traditional Riad.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart. Explore the winding streets of the Medina, visit Al-Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania and El-Attarine Madrasas, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the traditional tanneries. Admire local artisans in the souks and enjoy panoramic views of the city. Overnight in Fes.
Depart Fes after breakfast and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and continue to Azrou to visit the Cedar Forest and see wild monkeys. Proceed through Midelt, known for its mineral resources, and then the Ziz Valley with its scenic palm groves. Arrive in Erfoud, famous for fossils, and stay overnight in a Riad or hotel.
After breakfast, continue to Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Prepare for a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoying the sunset over the golden sands. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp with traditional dinner and Berber music under the stars.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the Erg Chebbi desert, visit a desert oasis, and stop in Khamlia, known for Gnaoua music. Meet Berber families and learn about their culture. Return to Merzouga for another camel ride and overnight in the desert camp.
After breakfast, drive to Rissani and visit the historic market. Continue to the Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon with towering cliffs. Enjoy lunch and a short walk before proceeding through the Dades Valley, passing unique rock formations and palm groves. Overnight in a Riad or hotel in Dades or Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, continue to Ouarzazate, stopping at the Valley of Roses and Skoura Oasis to admire ancient kasbahs. Visit the famous Atlas Film Studios, then continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Pass through Telouet and cross the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech. Overnight in a Riad or hotel.
After breakfast, explore Marrakech highlights including Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Djemaa El-Fna square. Then begin your journey back to Tangier, with a possible stop in Casablanca to see the Hassan II Mosque. Conclude your tour with either a transfer to Tangier airport or an overnight stay in Tangier, depending on your schedule.
